The Barts Health NHS Trust and St Bartholomew's Hospital have been at the forefront of London's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, leading the project to establish London's Nightingale Hospital at Excel, and more recently working to facilitate the vaccine roll-out across east London.

In this exclusive talk Professor Charles Knight, Chief Executive of St Bartholomew's Hospital will talk about the extraordinary response of his team and those at the other hospitals in the Barts Health NHS Trust to the unfolding crisis, together with the long-term impacts of the pandemic on the NHS. He will also discuss his secondment as Chief Executive of the NHS Nightingale Hospital, London.

Since 20210 Professor Knight has led the development of the Barts Heart Centre, the largest cardiac centre in the UK on the oldest healthcare site in the country. In 2015 he was appointed managing director then chief executive of St Bartholomew's Hospital.

Join the event on Thursday 15th April from 4.00pm - 5.00pm
